The Worst Experience: You’ll Sure Be Drained
To say that I’m infuriated, drained, exhausted, out of options, appalled and disappointed would be an understatement.
The communication is so poor. You’re promised the best and simplest service only for it to be the TOTAL opposite experience riddled with hassle. You receive no proper updates UNLESS you’re the one who calls…every time.
My phone went in for repairs (mind you, you’re not even prepped or given information on the processes to take place) and it was only after I went out of my way to ask about the timeframe/turnaround time for the service directly from the repairer, which was to take 5 to 7 business days. My phone’s part to be ordered was only ordered on the 6th business day- a part to come from overseas. Apparently, this may have been due to NakedInsurance’s delay in response to the report Platinum Repairs submitted. From then to a further 7 business days later, 2 job opportunities LOST! And no phone!
You’re not given a device to hold onto yet you’re told, “JP, the team lead on your case, will email you the communication confirming the…”. HOW?! Where?!
And then, don’t think you’ll get a feasible alternative to the mess you find yourself in. You’ll be told what THEIR best option for you is after all the turmoil.
The signing up and affordability is the fun part, and so is the convenience of the app. Something happens to your device, trust me, you’re in for a treat.
I’m waiting to have my phone’s issue resolved, and after that I’m removing my other two devices from them.
Nothing is clear or seamless as advertised.
You and/or your repairer were unable to source the part in time, and then later offered me to send my phone back to me with a repair fee you’ve calculated, because you want ME to be stuck with the issue whereas I paid for insurance not to have this hassle. As a result, I requested my full claim amount less the excess fee agreed upon instead. Even though that may take up to 5 business days, at least, it won’t be 5 business days for the repair money and a further 1 to weeks to wait on a part.
You’re acting as though there’s nothing wrong you’ve done. No accountability. No recompense.
Bad service is bad service.
Whoever rep**** to my complaint, tell me, would you last 3 weeks with no phone and having to rely on your work’s landline to resolve something that’s put you in a loop?
