The Game Of Thrones of insurance companies
Goodness where do i start? If you want to take out insurance with a company where you will need to do everything, make sure the work is done, tell them to arrange with a different company as the lead time is 5 months down the line, pay excess when the person who hit you in the rear has already told you they will cover with their insurance, provide the insurance details of said person, follow up every other day and never have them call you to follow up themselves, then Naked insurance is the company for you.
On the 9th of April i opened a claim for an accident on the highway, i was bumped into by a lovely yellow Fiat Abarth, we pulled over and exchanged details and took some photos, the driver fully accepting that the fault is with them, and to not worry they will ensure insurance shall cover (Oh boy if only i was with Outsurance like them) I received a response from a rep asking for the normal things, photos, police docket, etc i provided all these details and at this point was pleased with the service i was receiving, gosh i thought this is going swimmingly, i am sure everything will be painless and sorted quickly, fast forward to the 8th of July (92 days later), and we are still doing a lovely song and dance (although i think i might be the better dancer) the car was completed and sorted, the payment done from side, now i await Naked (and afraid)
The time together has been lovely and i treasure all the time i spent following up and contacting all of the companies for Naked so we could get my claim resolved. but as with all relationships this one is becoming toxic and i do wish it to be over soon.
I joined Naked when a friend of mine had an exceptionally smooth claim on a ****** phone and i thought yes, finally a good insurer, i suppose not everyone will have luck with every company, for this i leave two stars, if its something small and easy i suppose the experience will be good, but heaven forbid the claim becomes anything more complicated then point A to point B
With this final good bye my story ends, hoping to have a resolution sometime in the next 92 days, Smith, signing off.
Update : I was wrong, my story hasn't ended yet, it's feels like Game Of Thrones season 8 (Terrible) 103 days now, tried to get an update on my excess payment today and have been told i should phone the third party for my money back from the excess i paid, I am not sure what it is about Naked but generally when I pay a business to do something i assume they will do it, if i wanted to phone third parties for you i would go direct with them from the start, if you are going to be a middle man, perhaps try being good at being the middle man.
We are on day 138,

A glimmer of hope from my most recent follow up
