Terrible experience, do your homework first before choosing Naked Insurance.

Think very carefully before choosing Naked Insurance...

You won't have any say when it comes to their Service Providers (some of the lowest-rated across the board), and if you can't accommodate a "mobile repairer" for example, that will be your problem.

Repairs and work will be done in the utmost and extreme economical way (forget about OEM parts, even if you are explicitly warned by a vehicle manufacturer not to fit the generic no-name parts that Naked Insurance will force you to take).

Naked Insurance's stance is that of "take it or leave it" – across the board, including choice of Suppliers, Parts, escalation outcomes and so forth.

Any escalations made to Claim Agents is treated as "busywork" and won't make any difference. You will also be undermined, dismissed and treated like a naughty child – there is a "customer care specialist" called Tia which is a particular "delight" to talk to.

Lesson learned: companies who make the loudest noise (in terms of advertising and marketing), are usually the ones with the worst customer service and customer satisfaction.

Please do – and please take note of your own Policy Wording before contacting me – "...repairs to be carried out by a qualified repairer....repair to your car to a condition substantially the same as its condition immediately before the event". Aftermarket and OEM is not the same thing.
