Quirky but Murky
I have to do my review with honesty but make sure the rating is accurate.
Yes, I was informed after two weeks that we would be paid out for the TV, Laptop, and some jewelry.
I was excited about the quirkiness of the Naked campaign, and no person struggling to read English from a script to take you through the laborious process of listing items for insurance. Yes, the premium was the best compared to others, and loading the items on the APP was astonishingly easy, no questions asked. Then the break-in, and suddenly the bot can't help no further and the Bot becomes a real person with loads of information required. Eventually, a person gets appointed to come and investigate the crime scene. This was the crazy part- on the investigation of the company it was actually what seemed to be an outsourced company- ***** prevention and ***** investigating was their core. This upset me to the extent that I wanted to cancel my claim and move to another insurer. Suddenly the victim is the suspect in question. My wife kept her cool. The time spent, back and forth for the amount did not add up. I replaced the Laptop that was ****** out of my pocket as my wife is on a serious path with her studies and can not wait till now. My slogan was – #don’t let Naked leave you Naked- I was furious. The person from the ***** company kept her cool and my wife asked me to go through with the investigation. The only patience I had was the fact – that ***** is very high in the insurance market and false claims require these drastic measures. The investigation- Eyewitnesses, camera footage, serial numbers and tracking of me and my wife's whereabouts, inventory checklist, the value of current goods in your household, room for room, everything to the serial number. The payout is not in my account yet but installing cameras on my fence and inside the property and added more bars to the windows, what have I learned from this: • Have a proper inventory of all essential goods and the history of items in your house. Keep photos of valuables, jewelry cell phones etc. • Add a camera to record footage that can be used as evidence. Even your neighbor's cameras as in my case are very helpful. • If anything happens- take videos and photos of things thrown out, broken windows, gates pulled out off tracks, footprints. Will I now change insurers? It is very tempting to prove your point, but for now, we will sit tight and get terms with the new world of Apps, bots, and forensic audits.
