Quick, Modern and automated onboarding followed by a old, long painful claiming process

Quick, modern online onboarding process to be followed by a painful, long claims process, its strange that quick and modern and automated seems to relate to when they want your money, once you're client ...that same process does not apply

This is a second claim with Naked and i thought process would be different, unfortunately that was not the case.

Last week I had to run out to help a driver and baby out of the car after they tried to avoid an accident and ended up driving through half of my backwall, I was informed assessor would be onsite to assess in 2 days, this I was not happy with because my backwall is gone and it facing a national road which means someone could walk in and out of my property at will, this I informed Naked on same day it needs to be an emergency for the safety of my family, instead approved emergency wall approved was a fence wall tide on side with wire and was struggling to stay up by itself.

Fearing for safety of my family I resorted to paying out of my pocket for the proper wall erect and restore to original state, no communication since assessor was onside if my claim approved/what, when repair, it’s a full week today since accident, this means I would have spent a whole week without a wall, tripping electricity because of the expose electrical wires.

You don’t care about the safety of your clients because you don’t distinguish what’s a security critical claim vs not, this is a second claim I had to go through with you that affected security of my family where you made it clear its not priority to you

If I have to pay more for this security then I will gladly go back to Discovery/Outsurance at least their claims process was not this painful, I'm back in market for an insurer.

Reviewer Update
Update on this, as of today all issues have been sorted except for repairs on pool, service provider was onsite now and and work pool to start tomorrow, so seating with pool with cracks and rocks in it through December heat if i did not take it upon myself to get the pool cleared, water drained to at least ensure kids can swim in December.

Elizabeth Du Preez has been excellent in assisting with my claim/escalations, i suppose one can do so much if you have a process that need to be reviewed and pool suppliers not available in December.

As it stand i have a quote from your competitor which is R300 cheaper so i need to make a decision if will be staying and being a good client I'm i feeling guilty to leave you guys even after this painful exercise...time to decide :(
