Phone claim

The claim process was good. However, I wish I had lowered the value of my insured phone regularly since the value of cell phones reduces over time. I had insured my phone for R26000 (with R3500 excess) since Feb 2022 and now (May 2024) when I claim, the replacement value of my insured phone is worth R14195. Meaning I could only get a voucher of R14195, less my R3500 excess even though I was paying more money. This is all stated on Naked Policy Wording, but one might miss it or forget with time.
