PATHETIC INSURANCE - NEVER AGAIN

I logged my claim on the 9th of January 2023. It took me several attempts to log this claim as you have this ridiculously stupid artificial intelligent software, that makes life a misery

13th January 2023 - I was requested to submit supporting valuation certificates aging, which was already loaded onto the system, at the time of taking out the insurance. How stupid can you be. I also had to get a affidavit completed and stamped at the police station. It took me 4 hours and 2 days at the police station to have the affidavit stamped through evening load shedding.

16th January 2023 - All documents were sent through. Copies of valuation certificates and tax invoice had to be resent. Such a frustration, when they had all the information already loaded on the profile.

23rd - A request for further investigation, hence I should submit further documentation and revisit my police station for another affidavit to be stamped. A further 3hrs wasted.

Naked Insurance have the worst investigators that seem so lost and confused, as Naked, who cannot tell the difference between a arm and a leg. Its been weeks and my case has not yet been resolved. Just another pathetic insurance, with a bunch of idiots.

ONE MONTH LATER. It is the 7th of February 2023, and I have just received my feedback to my claim today.

BEWARE, NAKED WILL SOURCE OUT THE REPLACEMENT OF YOUR JEWELLERY ITEM FROM UNREPUTABLE, UNHEARD JEWELLERY STORES, WITH QUOTATIONS SO LOW, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REPLACE THE ITEM FROM A REPUTABLE STORE.

THEY WILL FIND THE LOWEST POSSIBLE QUOTATION AND WILL SETTLE YOU ON THAT, AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, FROM AN UNREPUTABLE, UNHEARD JEWELLERY STORE.

FURTHERMORE, NO DISCLOSURE IS MADE TO YOU AT THE TIME OF TAKING OUT THE COVER, WHERE ONE CAN HAVE A FAIR UNDERSATNDING OF EITHER TAKING OUT THE COVER OR NOT.

BADLY PAID OUT.

IF YOU HAD PURCHASED YOUR ITEM FROM BROWNS, NWJ STORES ETC, YOUR ITEM WILL BE REPLACED BY THIS CHEAP ALTERNATIVE JEWELLRY STORE, AT THEIR CHEAPEST PRICE.

NAKED WILL ALSO ADVICE YOU THAT YOU CAN “ACCEPT A CASH SETTLEMENT, WHICH WOULD ALLOW YOU TO REPLACE THE ITEMS AS YOUR OWN LEISURE FROM A STORE OF YOUR CHOICE”

HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE. HOW DO I REPLACE THE ITEMS FROM A STORE OF MY CHOICE WHEN THE AMOUNT PAID IS THE LOWEST POSSIBLE AMOUNT, THAT IS NOT EVEN HALF OF WHAT THE VALUATION OF THE ITEM WAS. AND THE LONGER THAT I WAIT, THE HIGHER THE PRICE DUE TO INFLATION.
