Outstanding Service Delivery!

I’ve been insured with Naked since 2021 (vehicle, cellphone, home contents) and although this is my first claim ever, I had no expectations because of the stories one hears of insurances in general. Today? The standard has been set and I’m in awe!

I claimed with Naked for my Apple Watch on Friday morning (July 12th, 2024) around 07:50 (which was a very quick and easy process where an acknowledgment email and SMS were sent to me, informing me that the claim has been received and referred). One the same day, I was contacted via email by David around 15:41, informing me that my claim is under review and I’ll be contacted by their contracted service provider in 2 business days for assessment of my device, which I’m assuming was to manage customer expectations.

Literally 10 minutes after David’s email, the service provider sent me an email and an SMS with a form I needed to fill in; which literally took 2 mins to fill in; and they informed me that I can drop my watch off the next day for assessment (there’s an option for them to collect it, I just chose to drop it off myself).

I took the watch in on Saturday (July 13th, 2024) around 12:00 and was informed feedback will be provided in the course of this week.

Today, Monday the 15th of July 2023, David from Naked emailed me with feedback. Not only was my claim approved; it was settled as well.

If anyone has ever needed some sort of convincing or nudge to join Naked Insurance, this is it. Not only are they competent in everything they do, they also show a level of empathy that one generally does not expect.

David, you were absolutely incredibly to deal with. Naked Insurance, I’m glad to have come across you and to have chosen you. Thank you!
