Only naked part is not the prices but how you feel in their claims process.
We are now 15 days into a claim after the 7th of April storms in the Helderberg area damaged our house and car. Car quickest repair without payout is 13 May and still arguing the price of repair the front of our house where the wind ripped out a structure with wood and sheet metal from the wall. We are still arguing about the price of fixing our house even though the assessor's estimate is 3 times less than the cheapest quote (out of 3) we sourced ourselves. This is what we get for being loyal customers for 4 years and the first ever claim on a house of car. I can't understand how we have to deal with this shocking claims process in a clear natural disaster.
Worked in insurance for nearly 2 years, this is not how things are done. Quoting great process, claims and backoffice at Naked is not up to standard.
Only insure a phone or up to car with Naked.
The claims process will leave you naked.
Our aim is always to provide a fair and prompt resolution to all claims. Please note that your motor claim was authorised on the 11th of April 2024, and the chosen panel beater was informed of this. The only available booking date was the 27th of May. We then requested availability from an alternative panel beater, and similarly, the only available date they had was the 13th of May. Your claims handler advised you of this, and you were also informed that we can settle your motor claim in cash, which you haven't responded to.
For your property claim, the settlement was provided on the 15th of April after you mentioned to our assessors that you wish to use your own service provider. After providing a private quote, we advised that we can settle based on that quote provided the betterment is excluded from the quote.
