Naked insurance, the biggest **** ever.

I regret insuring my car with Naked Insurance underwritten by Hollard.

After a really bad car accident, my car was taken to an auction house where it was assessed, I waited for about 3 weeks for a waidler report after having been harassed with endless questions from an assessor who nit picked each and every place I had been travelling to and from prior to my accident backdating two months. As well as questioning each and every transaction from my bank account. Who sent me money? Why ? What was it used for? I was so traumatised and frustrated by this entire process. That time I don’t have a car, but they were still taking their premiums every month.

After nearly two months of my car sitting at auction house deteriorating, I was told my claim was rejected for reasons which are baseless and unsubstantiated, 1. Saying my tyres were not of proper thread count 2. Saying I had consumed a large amount of narcotics which was the biggest shock for me because I was under no influence, police were on the scene and it’s even on the police report that I was not drunk, or under any influence. No blood tests were done. It was just a theory from their side.

I’ve realised they will say anything not to pay out claims especially for total loss. If you are financed, you will end up paying for years for a car you don’t have yet you have insurance.

They sent me a rejection letter, cancelled my cover without asking me and that was it.

Yoh! I have never been so stressed and frustrated in my life. Naked insurance has been my worst nightmare to sum up my 2024.
