Naked Insurance is the same as all the others. Sadly.

I was singing praises about Naked Insurance a couple of short weeks ago until I had to get roadside assistance for a breakdown. I was disgusted!

Naked offers you roadside assistance if you need to get towed for 40kms. Get this, the 40kms starts counting down when the truck leaves its base and if your vehicle delivery is anywhere beyond 40kms then you pay for the balance.

Now, if you live in GP, llike me, where distances between work/home etc are large it means you’re in for a top up, guaranteed. In effect you’re self insuring because you always have to pay out of your own pocket. So what’s the point?

I’m disappointed because I know insurance, in general, very well and I told people that Naked is different. They are not. It’s just lipstick.
