Naked Insurance – A Nightmare Experience of Endless Delays and No Accountability

I had an accident on the 25th August 2024, and dealing with Naked Insurance has been an absolute nightmare. It took over 15 days to get my claim approved, during which the process felt unnecessarily difficult. Rather than handling my case with efficiency, it seemed like they were actively searching for loopholes to avoid paying out. As a loyal customer who has always paid premiums on time, I was deeply disappointed by how I was treated when I needed their support.

Even after finally getting an approval, things got worse. Five days after the approval, I waited for Naked to settle the claim with my bank, only to be informed that their underwriter, Hollard, was not satisfied with the same validation process that took 15 days. They decided they needed to investigate further. This clearly signals they are looking for any excuse not to pay, despite having already approved the claim. I had informed my bank and provided all the necessary details, yet Hollard's intervention meant I was back at square one with no resolution in sight.

It's been 30 days without my vehicle, and the inconvenience costs are completely ignored. Instead of providing support, I'm the one constantly following up, and now I'm at a point where I don’t know where to turn. Naked Insurance appears powerless, as they rely entirely on Hollard to make final decisions.

I want to warn others considering Naked Insurance to be cautious. They don’t seem to operate as a reliable insurance company. Despite paying your premiums to them, they have no authority over their own claims process or the assessments they conduct. You're left at the mercy of their underwriter, trapped in a frustrating loop of delays with no accountability.

I hope Naked Insurance reconsiders how they treat their customers, and I sincerely hope this review helps others make an informed decision before choosing them.
