Naked does not care about customers

I have been a loyal customer of Naked Insurance for years, paying my premiums without fail, expecting reliable coverage when needed. However, when I recently filed a claim after falling victim to car jamming, my claim was unfairly rejected due to "no signs of forced entry."

Car jamming is a well-known crime in South Africa, yet this company chooses to hide behind technicalities instead of protecting their customers. Despite reporting the incident and following all necessary procedures, my years of loyalty mean nothing to them.

Their customer service is unhelpful, and their refusal to acknowledge modern-day theft methods is unacceptable. I strongly DO NOT recommend this insurer to anyone looking for genuine protection. Avoid them unless you want to waste your money!

We sincerely apologise for the experience you have had and truly appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us. Your feedback is extremely important, and we understand how frustrating and disappointing this situation must be for you. Please know that we carefully assess each claim in line with our policy terms and conditions. Unfortunately, as outlined in our policy wording, we are unable to provide cover for theft from an unattended vehicle.

Biggest frustration with you as a Team is the fact that you pick things that conveniently suit your narrative not to pay your customers. As per the below the Vehicle was parked securely in a shopping complex parking with car guards around its not like it was at night and i was in a dangerous area. I was in a suburb (Weltervreden park) The bag was in the boot concealed and completely out of view from anyone. Naked Insurance refuses to take responsibility for anything because Vodacom insurance paid out and made life so pleasant and easy after the trauma i endured. I even fetched police to come with me to the parking.
