Misleading insurer

I submitted a claim and was told I was allocated a validator. I comp**** and submitted all documentation. However, I found it odd that my neighbours contacts and the Body Corporate contacts were required. On the other hand, I was sent an inventory form that I was supposed to complete and send back. I did that and was told I did mot list everything, which is unfair for me as I stay in a small apartment that does not have a lot of stuff.

What really makes me angry is the fact that I have been Naked insurance client for the past three years and this is the first time I am claiming. I believed the claiming process was quick as the advertising says that claims are processed in record time.

I feel like this is not the case and it is making me very angry that I am only finding out three years later. I was always vouching for this insurance and encouraging friends and family to join it.

I was staying with my parents ever since and only bought my first property late last year, which is why I only added one content last year. It is already traumatic waking up your things ******. But here I am being frustrated by an insurance I believed in.

I am sitting here asking myself why did I waste money on insurance all these years.

I will not be recommending anyone to use this insurance as I don't believe it upholds its values. You will pay your money but when its time to claim you will be frustrated.

Hi there Nolwazi, sorry to hear you are feeling frustrated with the claims process. Validation is a standard insurance process and usually takes around 10 working days to complete but we are pushing to get it finalised ASAP. One of our claims agents will be in touch with an update shortly. Thanks!
