****MERS!!! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE USING THEM
My son was involved in a car accident, and Naked Insurance and Hollard said the case would be sorted in 14 days, but it took almost three months just to get rejected. They are complete ****mers, and we know of multiple people who were rejected for invalid reasons. Vuyani Tsimane from the complaints department and Robert Lloyd, an internal adjudicator, did their research using a redacted EDR and found that the rejection was valid. Naked Insurance and Hollard handled this matter in a way that, in my opinion, is deeply misleading and unprofessional. They refused to release the original EDR because they do not want us to provide it to the Ombudsman, so they are basically hiding information. They then supp**** a redacted report missing crucial data and still claimed it was the “original.” That claim is simply not credible when key information is clearly absent. They also stated that steering input data does not exist, and the car’s throttle position was showing N/A, yet a crash expert somehow reconstructed the accident and reached firm conclusions anyway. Reconstructing an accident without steering input and throttle data raises serious doubts about the validity and honesty of their investigation. Key elements that would normally be needed to accurately determine the crash dynamics were missing, yet the expert still made definitive claims, which is not credible. On top of this, the towing invoices do not add up and do not match the fees they insist must be paid. No clear or logical explanation has been provided. What makes this even worse is that Naked claims they do not do phone calls and only communicate via email, yet emails are ignored or not responded to at all. There is effectively no way to get clarity, explanations, or accountability. The contradictions, missing information, ignored communication, and lack of transparency make this process feel deliberately obstructive. Based on my experience, this behaviour raises serious red flags and strongly resembles deceptive practices. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON!!! DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM!!
