Losses occurred

My laptop bag was ****** last week when l drove with a colleague. In the laptop bag was my only key for my Mini. Because it was the only key my car had to be towed in so that a new lockset be fitted. That is the only way to program new keys. I got feedback that the claim is limited to the key claim only. The purpose of insurance is to guard you against losses occurred. The lost I occurred was the replacement of the lockset as I had no keys after the key was ******. The loss suffered was not limited to only replace the key. The claim was therefore limited to less than a 1/5 of the quote. I therefore withdraw my claim and settled it myself. It would negatively impact my premium if I accept their limited amount. So please make sure in your consideration of Naked to ask the question - if you have one key what the impact will be when it's lost. You will certainly not be covered for the total replacement cost. Find it difficult to trust this brand now. And will certainly move my business. Think before you choose a brand.

This is ut trust in your brand is lost. I accept the outcome and will therefore withdraw my claim and rather settle it myself. However, I would not trust Naked in future on actual losses occurred and will move my business elsewhere at the beginning of 2024. Please withdraw my claim accordingly. Regards Johan Heyneke
