Just collecting SA ID. Is it ****?
I have answered all questions and entered SA ID and Naked just showed a message that "sorry cant issue insurance". What is the reason for it? Are you collecting ID numbers?

23 Jul 2022, 11:42I spoke to your agent now. He confirmed the below over the phone conversaction.
1. According to hollard under taking caluse 14 states a South African driving license holder has predefined insurance declared value. Based on this rule, a 1 year old SA DL holder can't get insurance for a vehicle worth more than R350,000.
- Naked Insurance didnt ask age of SA license before asking SA ID number. I have already rep**** that (1) I have uninterrupted SA insurance for past 3 years in SA, no claims for past 2 years, no driving voilation in past 5 years.
2. The online quote application does not do business rule checks in each step of the questionare however only after collecting the SA ID.
So the point is, if ever Naked Insurance advertise or be transparant with the clauses whatever the undertaking you have, people of south africa don't have to share their ID number with Naked Insurance, thus not collecting ID numbers.
In my case, because the hollard clause 14 says Naked Insurance can't provide an insurance, kindly removed my ID number from Naked Insurance systems which was unnecessary and no absolute reason for the same.
Please confirm once the unncesecerly collected ID number is removed from your system.
By the way, I have a foriegn driving license from 2002.
