Insurance
I must say I am truly disappointed by Naked insurance, I have car insurance with them and I was looking to add another vehicle, home contents and buildings insurance and I did the quote yesterday, I’m happy with the pricing and everything the one thing that concerns me is that with the building cover Naked doesn’t cover the geyser itself, you pay extra for that R400+ I mean this day and age most insurers automatically add the geyser to your cover, why is it treated differently like it’s not part of the home? It’s literally one of the fixtures in the house, one shouldn’t have to pay R400+ to get covered. This needs to be reviewed

We’re really sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced, and we appreciate your feedback.
The geyser is treated as an optional extra because it's not included in the standard building cover, allowing us to offer flexible policy options. To add coverage for the bursting or leaking of your geyser, it will need to be added as an optional extra to your quote or policy.
We understand your concerns and are happy to assist you further with any questions or to add this coverage to your policy.
