Disgusted

I was involved in an accident few months ago, where I got bumped by a truck and the truck driver admitted to be the one who was wrong. My calim number is CL252906. Fast forward to the claiming process. I was told to pay an excess, which I was against it, because the insurance of the the truck driver did not have an issue paying for all the expenses towards the damage on my car. Naked insisted that I should pay the excess and will reclaim it.

Few weeks later after receiving my car from the Panelbeaters, I phoned the owner of the truck and he informed me that his insurance has already made a payment to Naked (third party claim), however, I am being send to pillar to post between the Naked Insurance claim department and their so called Legal department. I have a feeling that they don't want to pay back the excess fee.

Everytime I phone their legal department, I get informed that they are yet to acquire final invoice. I then phoned claim department and spoke to Precious Myeni, who informed me that the final invoice was sent to legal department. She further sent me proof of communication (email) where the final invoice was sent to Isaac Mogwera from Legal department on 26 May 2023. To my dismay when I phoned legal department on 7 June 2023 and spoke to Isaac, he said he has not recieved the final invoice.

This is the kind of treatment and service one is subjected to by Naked Insurance. Trying any trick in the book to avoid paying back the excess amount. I don't even want talk about the initial claim process😭😭
