Disappointed with Naked Insurance
I needed a windsceen replacement due to a crack that developed after being hit by a stone. The initial loading of the claim and the approval process worked well. The Glass Group were assigned to replace the windscreen. The came out to my house so very convenient. After the fitment I noticed a whistling noise coming from the windscreen which the Glass Group have undertaken to rectify however I also noticed that the replacement windscreen was not an original Volvo windscreen. When I queried this with the Glass Group they informed me that it is Naked Insurance's policy to replace windscreens with non-OEM parts once the vehicle is out of the manufacturer warranty. I don't remember this being mentioned during the on-boarding process and it certainly wasn't the policy of Outsurance who were my previous insurer. I've had my windscreen replaced several times over the years and this is the first time that there has been a whistling noise after replacement. I can't believe that its just a happy coincidence that this is also the first time that the replacement is a non-OEM windscreen. This non-OEM policy of Naked Insurance should be front and center of discussions when going through the on-boarding process. This experience has been very disappointing....
