Disappointed in naked insurance
I made a claim on 02/01/2026 and it was approved and authorised for repairs on the 05/01/2026, on the 8/01/2026 they told me that the penal beater is the one that must fetch the car from Gauteng to Bloemfontein were it’s supposed to be fixed, hence there’s a delay in moving the car to Bloemfontein. On the 12/01/2026 i asked about the status update, they said that the vehicle has been marked for release at Auction Nation, but they haven’t received confirmation from the penal beater that the vehicle has been successfully uplifted to their workshop. On the 13/01/2026 the said that they have confirmed that the vehicle is scheduled to be delivered that day. On the 14/01/2026 they said that the penal beater have mentioned that their tow truck was deployed that day to collect the vehicle from Auction Nation, but unfortunately, they went to the incorrect yard. I called the penal beater they said it’s not them who are supposed to tow the car but the insurance is the one who organised that Auction Nation Roodepoort tow the car to Auction Nation Bloemfontein. On the 15/01/2026 When i asked about the vehicle the insurance said that i should give them 10 days to move the car to Bloemfontein. On the 21/01/2026 i got PowerEvent alert from Cartrack i then login on my app and saw that the car has been driven for 50km, of which i informed the insurance about it with proof but they never attended to it. On the 29/01/2026 they said that the car is now in Bloemfontein but when i checked on the Cartrack it shows that the vehicle is still in Gauteng
