Despicable service rendered by naked

Absolute horrific service from Naked insurance, Submitted a claim on the 9th october 2022 and to date i have been in a continuous battle of trying to get answers from them, They where quick to approve the claim and advice me on a panelbeater in the area, but after that they started their procrastination tactics of not sending the authorization through to the panelbeater, claiming they did but the panelbeater never ever recieved it, so after a couple of weeks went by of this back and forward motion of trying to get them to send through the authorization i eventually gave up and said they should settle me in cash i will get the car fixed, when they sent me the settlement figure i noticed that the so called head assessor looked pass so much of the damage and was only covering parts which he felt like covering, when i queried it they asked for more pictures which i sent through once again, they said they will show them to the assessor and let me know when they get feedback, today i get a call saying that if they cover all the damaged parts they have to write off the car which is a absolute joke since the car only has damage from gravel which chipped of the paint on the front end and damaged the headlights, The damage doesnt even equate to 50% of the value of the car. To top that they cant even provide proper retail values, the retail value they gave me today was much less then the value i got from trans union today, Now i have to wait for the joke of an assessor to call me as you can never get ahold of him as his never available and he never answers or returns calls to make it clear that im not a clown and that they will not write off my car, i wouldnt recommend them to anyone rather go with another insurance company and have a piece of mind knowing that your assets are covered by a company with competent staff and that you wont have to worry about getting *****ed. THEIR WHOLE WAY OF DEALING WITH CLAIMS IS A ABSOLUTE JOKE YOU HAVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE RESPONDING TO YOUR EMAILS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.AND THEY ALL TELL YOU THE SAME THING. That they will find out whats happening and get back to you to no avail.Sad to think that they are underwritten by a reputable company hollard. Procrastination and getting nowhere is the game they play with you.
