Car returning with faults unrelated to the claim
It is disappointing when your vehicle is returned from the body shop with faults which never existed prior to the repairs.
Naked processed my claim relating to the hailstone damage, referred me to one of their service providers. Ever since the car returned from the panel beater, it has had ongoing mechanical issues which did not exist prior.
The insurer keeps passing the buck back to me stating that all the issues raised only relate to the wear & tear of the vehicle. However, none of these issues existed prior to the vehicle being repaired.

Nothing stops you as the insurer from assessing and getting your own diagnostic report on the issue. A diagnostic report is not free of charge, every time the vehicle is checked, there are costs implications. I don’t understand why I must be the one bearing those costs.

Nothing stops you as the insurer from assessing and getting your own diagnostic report on the issue. A diagnostic report is not free of charge, every time the vehicle is checked, there are costs implications. I don’t understand why I must be the one bearing those costs.

The vehicle was never involved an accident, it was in for body repairs on the passenger side after the November hailstorm.
