Car hire not an valued added service on Naked insurance

I have full comprehensive insurance cover with naked insurance. I had to booking in my car at the panelshop. I have added service on my policy for car hire. which i understand you have to pay a deposit... So im paying extra on my insurance for car hire yet i have to pay excess for damages on car hire. As per below statement, why would car hire be a VALUED ADDED SERVICE if you still need to fork out thousands for a car hire and if **** happens.

We can help arrange car hire for you but you will have to arrange where you collect the car from, with Europcar once it has been arranged.
