Camera claim

I've insured an item for R2000 and I'm been given a replacement of R1400 and requested to still pay excess. I've been asking for clarity on such and both people handling my claim are saying different things. I've requested a call for clarity on this, and still. It's honestly annoying and disappointing because this is not how they move, but have chosen to move like this this time. Very disappointed 😞
