My experience on MyTrip

I ended up booking an air ticket on My Trip by accident, I thought that I was on the airline website (******* by Google, my fault as I was not paying attention). I booked checked in luggage but noted that it was only for 10kg. Trying to access my booking online afterwards was impossible. On the website when I was searching to see how to get in contact, they recommend using the chat, but there is no sign of it on the website. There is no email address to be seen either. So I called the number. I must say the lady at the other end was nice and trying to be helpful but her accent made it difficult to be understood and she wanted to charge an additional 120 Euro one way to increase my checked in luggage allowance from 10 to 20kgs. No thanks. I then went on to the airline concerned to check my booking there and here I was I firstly relieved to find my booking did actually exist and secondly also to find that I could already take 23kgs of luggage as per what I usually get on this airline. There is absolutely no need or value in making a booking through MyTrip and I will avoid repeating the mistake in future.
