Mytraveluition - Stay away

What a ghastly experience with this company.

On 29 March 2022 I signed with MyTravelution. Their sales people are brilliant. After signing I started researching them. I came to the conclusion that I do not want to be with them. The next morning (30 March 2022) I contacted them to cancel my subscription. This is within the cool down period.

They acknowledged and I expected the amount of R25 000.00 that I paid to them to be refunded. The long and short of it is that after nearly two years they have not refunded me.

29 April 2022 I was number 255 in the refund que. 17 May 2022 #241 3 June 2022 #229 etc until the latest number which is 19 January 2024 #29

After close to two years (23 months and 12 days) they have not refunded me. According to My travelution they have an Ombudsman ruling that apparently they are well within their rights to stretch the refund time as far as they can.

In my opinion and the experience I am having with them right now I cannot recommend Mytravelution in any way. My recommendation is stay far, far away from them.
