Unfair treatment

My vehicle broke down due to the battery on vehicle not taking charge because of the alternator not being operational. I contacted MySure because the vehicle is under warranty with them with a policy MYEWS113392/WT6512 id *** however the information provided to me doesn't meets my expectations whereby they confirmed that the warranty covered only 40km in terms of towing the vehicle to the nearest workshop. The vehicle broke down in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga province and I must cover the shortfall to the amount of R3000 and they will only cover for the amount of R1500 to be towed to their approved workshop in Nelspruit. Be that as it may I had no other option but to accept their decision made because of the fact that I wanted my vehicle to be fixed as a matter of urgency. I view this matter in a very serious and I really need a clarity in terms of the warranty why should I supposed to cover for the shortfall. Your view and wisdom in this matter will be highly appreciated and await your urgent response herein. Yours sincerely Jerry Nyezi

Good day Mr. Nyezi,

We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience, the benefit for towing is capped at R1500 as per policy wording. Should you require policy explanation please contact the dealer that sold the policy to you.

Kind regards.
