MyAA Auto purchased vehicle with loads of hidden defects

With my wife, we bought a second hand Nissan Navara from MyAA Auto in Goodwood and that is the greatest mistake of our lives. Admittedly, we are also their victim as many others. They assured us of how good and reliable this vehicle will be since they also knew the previous owner who was quite meticulous about it. The Bakkie they sold us only did around 2500km of our own mileage and then all hell broke loose afterwards as the following took place: Such a big engine overheated and blew up, clutch plate with its flywheel damaged, all tyres and shocks had to be replaced, electrical problems including starter and alternator repairs, suspension issues, electronic motor not rolling windows up or down, steering column leaks and now the cluster unit is also to be replaced. All these problems surfaced after their one-month/1000 km cover. This vehicle has so far cost us around R120 000 to repair in less than six months driving it. It spends more time in workshop than driving. The other day I happened to read up on Hello Peter about MyAA Auto deals and realized that unfortunately I should have done so before the vehicle was purchased with them. As an advice, be very, very, very careful if you feel a dire need to buy a car from MyAA Auto or else don't deal with them for a peace of mind. Luckily we had the small policy for warranty on engine components but that again did not take us far.
