Good day to whom reads this. Myself and my fianc? viewed a absa repossessed property on there website and we placed bids on the property. We finally got considered for the property my fianc? got emailed. And and she was pre approved by my roof. They then emailed her the documents. On the email they stated we had to pay a r20000 deposit that was refundable. I called them to better understand the fees. The time line they gave us is unreasonable a person buying a property can't get 48 hours to pay over r20000 rand without going through the purchase contract they gave us an extension. We got 3 different story's from the staff members over email and over the phone my fianc? has it all on email. They where short over the emails when they rep****. I went to absa after I called and got no help from there branch I called there absa repossessed line and no real clarity was given to me. The absa branch couldn't help me after I went to see them. Absa home loan offices couldn't help me either in clarifying the to offers purchases we where emailed that have not been updated and claws to the new law. Ontop of that the price we got pre approved for was not typed on the document.
