Worst ISP ever!

Mweb is hands down one of the worst ISP’s I have ever dealt with! I signed up for a new installation with Mweb and Vuma. After a very quick callback to process my order, I then waited 4 days with no feedback. At this point I was ready to cancel. Eventually I struggled to actually get through and speak to a person because no one answers their phones. The wait time is extremely long and you would think a tech company would have a queue system in their IVR to give you an idea of how long you will wait. Anyway, I finally managed to get through to someone who said that the package had been cancelled. I was shocked because I had not requested a cancellation prior to the conversation. But at that point it was a good riddance. I happily cancelled the order. At the time of writing this, I have not received my R249 which they happily deducted. Apparently it can take up to 14 days but we will see.

Mweb probably does not read these reviews but hopefully it will deter anyone looking to sign up with them. My advice is don’t. Save yourself the frustration, time and money. And don’t take my word for it. Look at all the 1 star reviews on Hello Peter. They don’t deserve to exist as a business.
