Upset with Mweb
Wnet online and advise that i am having contiues drops in the internet. all i get from Mweb is to use the app. i advised them i want some assistance from someone and it gets ignoire. i have done this twice and stay of for half an hour at a time. not interested in customer service

- Restart the router by switching it off, waiting 2–3 minutes, then powering it back on
- Ensure the router is placed in an open area (not enclosed or near other electronics)
- Check if the drops happen on both WiFi and a direct cable connection
- Test one device at a time to rule out device-specific interference

I have tried all the info supp**** and don't know why I have to move anything as it is in the same place it has always been. how many time must I restart the router, I use only Wi-Fi at home. the connection does drop and that is why on your site i asked for assistance and after 2 hours have to give up because no replies to my questions. when i am busy working and the line goes down, I don't have time to document all the time. service from MWEB totally lacking as they see the best way to fix a problem is to tell you to use the app. In another office I have Afrihost supplier and I reported a similar problem. Within 24 hours the problem is fixed remoted by Afrihost. MWEB cannot do anything. so bad rating applies. if Afrihost was in my area then I would change Service provider

07 May 2026, 16:15So i was phoned after 4 days?? so to MWeb was not urgent. i advised my problem and they said they have reset the router on their side. they would phone back in a couple of days. no phone call so far and the internet is still playing up.
