Unknown Debit Order - Mweb
The past three months a debit order went of my account for R29.00 and each month I reverse the transaction. I have been trying with emials and chat bots to solve the problem, but to no avail. The transaction goes of on the last day of the month MWEB 565886:R***8 and I have no business with Mweb whatsoever.

This is 15 years ago when all services with them was formally cancelled and for the past three months they are trying to collect via a debit order R29. What a waste of everybody's time, cost, and energy!!! Useless service provider.

All that you have to do is to cancel the debit order, of which you no authority to debit in the first place, and cancel whatever services you think is linked to my account which have not been used or accessed since 2011.

As it was no longer linked to a connectivity product, they moved it to the cheapest available mailbox package from 1 July 2026. Communication regarding this change was sent to *** on 8 May 2026, allowing time for the mailbox to be cancelled before the change took effect.The email service has since been cancelled, and the remaining R29 is the final outstanding amount the system is attempting to collect.To have the banking details removed from the account, they require proof of the account being debited. Alternatively, if the account is registered to a company, they require the CK documents, a copy of the ID of someone listed on the CK documents, and a request on the company letterhead to remove the banking details. Once the banking details have been removed, the outstanding R29 can be settled via EFT.Kind regards,

14 Sept 2026, 12:57I did not receive your e-mail dated 8 May 2026 since ALL e-mails containing mweb was Blacklisted by my ISP since 2011. I have never in my entire life used the email address you provided and never signed any agreement as to debit my account since 2011 after all services were cancelled. Reverse the R29 debit order and make sure all services have been cancelled as above. The is no way that I am going to provide you with any documentation whatsoever! Fix your errors.
