Unexpectedly poor service delivery from MWEB Fibre
I recently signed up to Mweb 25 mbs fibre line.
Every week day between 09h00 and up to 12h00 the speed drops down to a minimum recorded speed on 0.38mps! It would be acceptable to have, say, between 15 and 25 but less than 5 is ridiculous and certainly not what is promised.
Some examples I have recorded, of speeds measured using the MWEB Speedtest (I have Screenshots with date and time): Date: 2 June; Time 10h07; Download speed 0.75 Upload 0.90 Date: 2 June; Time 10h57; Download speed 2.19 Upload 0.39 Date: 6 June; Time 09h28; Download speed 4.96 Upload 2.87 Date: 6 June; Time 09h38; Download speed 4.74 Upload 3.52 Date: 6 June; Time 10h01; Download speed 1.00 Upload 1.95
Is this fair business?
I have tried to phone the Technical "Service" line at *** to report this poor service delivery only to get a voice recorded message "..... please try again later". I have phoned Sales at *** - ah, we can get through immediately - but after pushing buttons '1 for this, 2 for that, 4 for technical" - I get a request for an identification number or account number. On entering my account number an OTP is sent to my cell phone. When entered "Sorry we did not get that".
Is this good service?
The MWEB Website is sales orientated - dare I say get business never mind the service? But technical assistance is secondary.
How do customers get through to MWEB Technical without having to pass through a non-functioning "push 1, .... push.... 2 enter...... "sorry we did not get that"?
You cannot defend what is indefensible perhaps?
