Unauthorized Debit order, I have made an arrangement for debit order on the last day of the month so month end March Debit order failed due to insufficient of funds and i had to pay through EFT on the 03 April 2026 R50.00 failed Debit included. On the 13 April 2026 they was a debit order which failed on my account i dint no who authorized that because on the 13 April my account was 0.00 as i paid on the 13 April 2026. On the 30 April 2026 i paid through debit order and what shocked me is the Extra R50 which is charged and i dint understand where it comes from i engaged them on the 01 May 2026 through whatsapp line and i did not get any report in that regard

04 May 2026, 15:42Hello Pheto. We understand how concerning this is, especially when you’ve made payments as arranged and then see unexpected debit attempts and additional charges. You’ve taken the right steps by settling via EFT and following up, and the account must reflect this accurately. We’ve arranged for our Billing experts to review your account in detail. They will verify the debit order dates, failed transaction fees, and all payments received, and then get in touch with you directly to clarify what happened and ensure everything is aligned correctly, including your agreed-upon debit order date. To help move this along smoothly, they’ll focus on:
• Confirming your payment on 03 April and 13 April
• Reviewing the debit attempt on 13 April and why it was processed
• Explaining the additional R50 fee and adjusting it where necessary
• Ensuring your debit order is set correctly for the month-end going forward
You can expect direct feedback once the review is complete, with clear next steps. We appreciate you raising this so it can be resolved properly.
Kind regards,
The Mweb Team
