Transfer Domain Names Between Mweb Accounts

This serves as a fair warning to others when attempting to transfer domain names between Mweb servers.The seemingly simple task of transferring the domain name from an Mweb uncapped hosting to a newly acquired Mweb virtual server hosting has so far taken a total of 4 weeks, 36h on the phone to the Mweb support together with numerous emails, reference numbers, additional administrative requirements and new registration costs on top of the hosting costs. Despite all this the end is not in sight and as far as I can tell no progress has been made.Unfortunately I only came across similar problems experienced by other clients once I started running into excuses and promises that did not materialise which prompted me to search for solutions from other Mweb clients.As this is a very simple operation and both accounts are held by Mweb I did not see the need for an in depth investigation into the domain name transfer before acquiring the new server, this has cost me dearly.In short, whether due to bad service or incompetence transferring a domain name from a Mweb uncapped hosting to a Mweb virtual server hosting has proved impossible, expensive and very time consuming.
