Though the outages are infrequent and usually are resolved quickly, the times you need to actually get a problem logged and attended to is almost impossible. No answer to whatsapp line, 2 hour wait in the call in ques and no answer to the website chat now line????? What sort of service is that. Surely they must start a web or whats app notification service, where you log the problem, they fix it and let you know or call you when they get to your issue? Not hard. and saves lots of frustration and time. Also why can they not send you a geo-located mobile notice to your mobile when there is an area problem needing attention? Again easy and saves tons of time. Worst company in SA for assisting customers in my view. Also suffers from periodic speed degredation as well!

Hi Ewan, we completely understand how frustrating this has been, especially when outages, though infrequent, become difficult to log and track. Waiting for hours in a call queue, not getting responses via WhatsApp or chat, and having no clear updates can be extremely frustrating, and we hear you.

Your suggestions around automated notifications, geo-located alerts, and proactive updates are very valid, these would definitely make managing issues easier and save time and stress for our customers. While we can’t implement changes instantly, feedback like yours helps us improve the way we communicate and keep clients informed during service interruptions.

We also note your point about occasional speed degradation. Our teams continuously monitor network performance to address these issues and ensure service is as consistent as possible.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this detailed feedback, it’s important for us to understand where the customer experience falls short so we can make it better.
Kind Regards,
The Mweb Team
