The worst service experience I have ever had.

The worst service experience I have ever had.

I signed up for an installation last Friday and received no communication whatsoever until I followed up myself on Tuesday. I was then informed that my payment had not yet been allocated, but was assured that it would be processed.

Upon calling again today to follow up on my order, I was shocked to be told that my address has been “blocked.” The consultant was unable to provide any explanation for this, yet expected me to provide further information from my side.

After waiting for a full week, I am still without any meaningful assistance or clear communication. This level of service is unacceptable, and it is evident that this company does not prioritize or respect its customers.

Hi Khanyisa,  we understand how frustrating this experience has been, especially with the lack of updates after sign-up and the confusion around the payment allocation and address status. That kind of uncer*****y and delay is not the level of service expected. Our Openserve Fibre team has now manually submitted the order directly to Openserve to ensure it progresses without further delays. Once Openserve has processed and accepted the order, you will be contacted directly to arrange and confirm the installation appointment. We will continue to monitor the order to ensure it moves forward as expected. Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team

Reviewer Update
Hi, Thank you for your response. Firstly, I would like to clarify that I did not sign up for Openserve Fibre — my application was specifically for MetroFibre. It is therefore concerning that an order has now been submitted to a completely different provider without my consent. Secondly, I have already cancelled my order. To date, I have not received any confirmation of this cancellation, which is unacceptable. Please treat this as urgent and confirm in writing that:
  1. My order has been successfully cancelled.
  2. No further processing or submissions will be made on my behalf to any service provider.
  3. Any payments made will be refunded, with confirmation of the refund process and timelines.
I expect prompt resolution and written confirmation.

Kind regards,
Khanyisa

Hi Khanyisa, We understand your concern, especially around the change in provider and the need for clear confirmation following your cancellation request. Your cancellation has now been successfully submitted under reference MWB***7, and no further processing or submissions will be made on your behalf. In terms of the payment, this will be reviewed in line with the cancellation, and the relevant team will process the refund accordingly. You will receive confirmation once this has been finalised, including the applicable timelines. Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team
