The service is shocking
The service is shocking. When you log a technical issue they want to charge you a call out fee of R 2,200 to fix it !

01 Sept 2026, 16:46Hi Marius,
We understand your concern regarding the potential call-out fee and appreciate the opportunity to provide some clarity on how this process works. The R2,200 unnecessary call-out charge is app**** by the network provider and only becomes applicable if a technician is dispatched to the premises and it is determined that the cause of the issue is on the customer's side. Examples include a router being switched off, cables being unplugged, or other circumstances that make the technician visit unnecessary. This is why our support teams perform the relevant checks before escalating and logging a fault with the network provider. The purpose of these checks is to avoid unnecessary technician visits and the possibility of such charges being app****. We hope this provides more clarity regarding the call-out fee process. Should you require any further assistance, please continue engaging with us via direct message and we will gladly assist.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team
