The biggest struggle to get Fibre!

On the 12th of December 2019 I signed up for Fibre with MWEB. I went through the entire process and received a standard welcome email. On the 28th I decided to phone as I have still had no further feedback. No phone call, no SMS, no email. I was told by Samantha Gomomo that I had failed the credit check and someone was supposed to phone and inform me. She then informed me that there is an Assist Option available but I had to pay in R1000. I did this and sent my proof of payment minutes after receiving the email with the banking details. I shortly thereafter received an email that has a "track your order" option. This link took me to my account that says it is inactive and that I have no pending orders but does reflect the R1000 I paid in on the account section. I gave it a few days. On the 2nd of January 2020 I phoned again (each time the waiting time on the phone call is around 18 - 20 minutes). I explained my situation to the gentleman on the other side, only to be told that this is a "Customer Service" issue, he put me through to a line that rang once and then there was nothing. No music, no voices, nothing. I phoned again, another 19 minutes, I got through to Samantha, explained the whole situation again. She confirmed that she was the person who processed the application last time we spoke. She told me that on the 30th the order was cancelled. I never cancelled anything (I just gave them R1000, why would I cancel it?). She informed me that she will replace the order and will expedite it. Shortly after we spoke, I got another email with the same "track your order" link (this is still inactive and still shows no orders). And shortly after that, another email from Samantha saying Billings Department is looking for the proof of payment. I wonder why now suddenly they need the proof of payment if my account already reflects it, but ok, I sent that. If everyone in my complex has subscribed to Mweb, and everyone I spoke to is recommending MWEB, then am I the only one struggling like this? Or is the other providers then just way worse and MWEB is the best out of them all?
