Terrible service regarding outstanding Fibre order

I submitted my order to Mweb for Fibre on 7 October 2016 and was told it would take up to 45 working days. It is now 12 January 2017 (almost 70 working days later) and I am still waiting for Fibre.

I called Mweb (for the umpteenth time) and requested that a manager call me back on the same day as I was fed up with being put on hold while each consultant investigated what has happened to date.

It is now 3 days later and I'm still waiting to hear from them.

Telkom have been to my apartment 3 times already to try and install, and each time they realise they can't (for the same reason as the time before). Telkom claim Mweb gave them the wrong address, but Mweb deny this and say they gave the correct one. Yet every time a new person shows up, they know just as much as the person before and we make absolutely no progress!

Mweb have been useless in liaising with Telkom to get this resolved. Every time I call I get told to wait for Telkom to call me, which they now haven't done for over a month. My order has obviously now just got lost in the ether!

The service I've received from both Mweb and Telkom has been nothing short of pathetic.

Hi,

The above implies that you've been trying for some time. You tried to call me once, 2 hours ago, and I was in a meeting so couldn't answer.

My number hasn't changed. Kindly call me again and if I'm available, I will answer.

Thanks

Kristen
