Stuck between Mweb and Openserve with no interent
I cancelled my capped Mweb subscription in the beginning of August 2020. On 26 August 2020 i activated my subscription again with an uncapped package. The change was done and i had internet access. The consultant processing the change said that nothing else had to be done and i will continue enjoying internet connection. On 8 September my line was suspended because someone at mweb never took ownership of the line that they released. After numerous calls to mweb and being put on hold and the call being dropped i was told a call will be logged. Openserve called me and said Mweb need to lift the suspension on my acc. Of course Mweb knows nothing about this and i was transferred from technical dept to the customer service to sales and from sales to someone else at sales only to be told the department that needs to activate my line has closed for the day. A call was logged and i was told to wait 48 hours. 9 September 2020 I called Openserve and they now said mweb need to receive ownership of my line. This was a very different story to what i was told the day before. I called mweb again, was placed on hold for 15 minutes after I spoke to someone who said they are checking something... and the call was dropped. I called again asking the consultant to take ownership of my line. This was sent to Openserve again. I called openserve and was promised a call back in 15 mins but after an hour of waiting i called again to be told i need to speak to Mweb because they see nothing. It is now two days without internet and i run a business from home and every hour without internet is money lost. I called mweb again and the consultant reassured me that the system is “taking ownership” and this can take 48 hours to complete. This means it took me two days to get someone at Mweb and Openserve to do the job they are supposed to do and i need to wait another 48 hours before i will have internet. I can not wait another day let alone 48 hours because i did nothing wrong and i was told when i upgraded that there will be no interruption. These are *********** service providers that dont do what they are supposed to and dont care when they need to fix it. Its just easier blaming the other party.
