STAY AWAY FROM THIS ****** A WOLF IN SHEEP's CLOTHING IS WHAT THEY ARE

I only opened a hellopeter account just to post this review, and I'm not surprised that there are people experiencing the same terrible service from this ******.

On the 24th of June I opened an account for Fiber with MWEB, they were very quick to deliver my package and get me connected and I was happy to be up and running, I didn't even realize that I didn't get a call from them confirming anything, not even confirming my contract with them.

3 months down the line my wife and I got our approval for the house we purchased, so I put in a migration request to MWEB to move my line to my new house, and they answered me 4 days later after we had moved asking me to confirm if I still want my line moved. I confirmed, that was on the 8th of September, on the 9th of September I called them to confirm that they will be moving my line, then Only then they tell me I will be liable for early termination fee of my contract, which is over R1700, I asked them to explain why I'm being charged the early termination fee. They told me I terminated my contract with them, and I told them I don't want any termination of the contract I just want the line migrated from one house to the next house, and they told me that's what termination is in their terms.

That's when I told them that's madness because I want to keep my contract with them as it is but just move to a new place. And I asked them where in their contract does it say such. They referred me to their terms and conditions. And there is no such a thing in their terms and conditions and I told them, they just told me there is nothing they can do, it is what it is, then I asked them to transfer me to whoever that can help me cancell this contract with them seeing that I'm already at a new place and I cannot pay for services at a place where I'm no longer staying.

Then I was transferred to Brenda in the cancelation department, a lady with a very nasty and terrible attitude I must say. She also couldn't explain to me why they calling migration termination, I mean why else would they have a migration department if they terminate contracts in order to migrate.

At the end of the conversation on the 9th of September we agreed that they will cancell my contract and cancel the migration that I had requested because I don't want anything to do with them, Brenda told me I will be liable for early termination fees, I told her I am not paying them anything because they are forcing the termination on me. So I immediately went on looking for another service provider.

On the 16th of September MWEB sents people to my house to install the fiber, after I canceled everything with them on record, on top of that I spent over R500 just calling this people not getting anywhere. I contacted frogfoot on the same day to ensure that whoever is coming to do the installation was not somehow sent by MWEB, I did this because my new service provider advised I do so, frogfoot are the guys that do the installation and fibre provisions on behalf of these service providers. They ensured me that they will do the installation on behalf of my new service provider which is GSolutions.

When I got home I found out that MWEB sent people and they installed on behalf of mweb, against my wishes, after I canceled everything with them 7 days before, GSOLUTIONS could not connect me because the line was with MWEB. I called them and asked them to terminate that line as it was provisioned without my permission, and they told me since I'm terminating early I will be liable for another R1700, such madness, and I asked whem what does the email from the 9th say, they told me exactly what it says, that they should cancel everything, then I asked why did they continue sending people to my place. Then they tried blaming me for allowing those people to install in my home. So I sent them my communications with frogfoot as proof that I never allowed them to come into my home, then Brenda again told me there is nothing she can do, I will have to pay the money in order for them to deactivate the line, and I asked Brenda about our conversation from the 9th since she's the same person I spoke to, and still with a bad attitude she told me there is nothing they can do.

And now every month they debit my account and I have to keep reversing the money, which will eventually ruin my credit record because they tried ******** me as they are ******.

Everytime you log a query they say they will respond within 48 hours, and they never reaping untill you call them back 5 days later. Only to spend 30 minutes holding the line just to be transferred somewhere where you have to hold another 20 minutes to get to speak to someone who is going to tell you there is nothing they can do.
