Speechlessly disappointing and zero concrete progress.

I still have an @icon email address, that’s how long my history with this Companies historical legacy goes. Back to mid 90’s.

I turned to Mweb again to get the fibre connected at our new home in Cape Town.

I ended up with Ilyaas, a salesperson. I explained our DESPERATE situation and my history to him. He promised everything to help me. Right down to going to talk to the guys in the back office, to get us connected as fast as possible.

He said he was sending me a router as part of my package. I EXPLAINED and sent photos as backup, that I required a modem with a fibre POTS. Also a higher speed router than what he was sending.

He insisted that I do not order the higher end router as the one he is sending can be used to get the line going, and then I should get the advanced router. I told him I was not happy about this. He even, out of his own accord, ordered a downgrade of the brand new line I ordered, so that it matched the speed constraints of the one he was sending me.

Just now, his router arrived. AND YES YOU GUESSED IT, IT FIES NOT HAVE A FIBRE POTS PORT AS DISCUSSED OVER SND OVER SND OVER.

SO TO DATE: I HAVE NOTHING WORKABLE FROM MWEB DESPITE ILYAAS PROMISES. GO CHECK THE VOICE RECORDING!! NOTHING BUT RATHER THE WRONG ROUTER!!!!!!
