****ty service and false advertising from Mweb left me out of pocket

After moving into a new apartment and looking for a fiber ISP provider, I (mistakenly) signed up for a Black Friday fibre special with Mweb (in December 2017) which promised the following:

Free Router Free Installation 1 month Free subscription

After signing up and authorising the debit order, the first statement I received charged me for ALL of the above. I then made telephonic contact with a billing clerk shortly thereafter who informed me that this was a 'mistake' made on other accounts too, and that it would be rectified in my debit order and an updated statement sent to me.

I was then charged in December for all of the above except the router which had been reversed. After logging into their portal and laying another complaint, I was then told that the agreement covers "Connection' but not 'Installation'. An 'installation' which was a self installation that I did myself! The charge for the first month has yet to be reversed too.

Pretty ****ty service if you ask me, and misleading if not false advertising. I would not recommend Mweb for any fiber services.
