Service Provider providing Bad Service

I have been trying to change my Debit Order Date for months without success. I was told to speak with Vuma which is incorrect. For the last 6 month you keep disconnecting me instead

There's no email details and your live chat app or web is absolutely useless

As a service provider your service stinks

Hi Jeremy,
It’s clear how frustrating this has been, especially after trying for months to make a simple billing change and repeatedly running into dead ends across our support channels. That kind of experience can understandably leave you feeling let down.
To clarify the process, the only debit order dates currently available are the 1st or the 26th of each month for this service. Unfortunately, a debit order date cannot be amended on an active service. To proceed with changing the date, the service would need to be cancelled and then recaptured by our Sales Team with the preferred debit order date selected upfront.
If you would like to proceed, a Sales agent can be arranged to reach out and assist with the recapture. Please let us know  via direct message on Hello Peter which debit order date you prefer (1st or 26th) and whether a callback can be arranged, and this will be taken forward accordingly.
Your feedback around accessibility, live chat usability, and overall service experience will be shared with our Service Quality Team for internal review, as it highlights areas that clearly need improvement.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

Hi Jeremy,  We understand your request to align your billing date to the 1st of the month due to your salary cycle, as well as your concern about the additional declined transaction charges. Please note that in order to proceed with changing the billing date, the existing service will need to be cancelled and re-provisioned, which may result in temporary downtime during the transition. Kindly confirm if you would like us to proceed with this change, and we will take the necessary steps for you. Warm regards,
 The Mweb Team

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for providing confirmation. A cancel and recapture request has been logged under reference MWB***7 with the Finance Team to update your debit order date to the 1st. They will keep you updated directly as soon as the changes on your account have been completed.
Regarding your connection, we understand your concern, especially noticing instability after raising your query. A GPON provision (line refresh) has been completed on your line to address any underlying issues that may have developed. Please restart your router and monitor the connection over the next few hours to see if stability improves.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team

You are still trying to debit since Friday costing me for each debit that was declined

Hi Jeremy,
We understand how frustrating it must be to be charged repeatedly after being advised that your debit order date would be changed, especially when this results in additional bank charges. This has clearly not reflected the level of billing accuracy and care we aim to provide.
We’ve reviewed your account and can confirm that the debit order attempt relates to the new order that was placed, which includes a pro‑rata amount due. These attempts are part of aligning the account billing following the change, which is why they were processed despite the update in progress.
We do understand the inconvenience this has caused. Your feedback will be shared with our Service Quality and Finance Teams to review how these transitions are handled and to ensure better communication and timing around debit order adjustments.

Kind regards,
Mweb Team

Hi Jeremy,
We understand how frustrating it must be to deal with repeated debit attempts while also experiencing unstable connectivity, especially when you expected a smoother process. This has not been the experience we aim to deliver, and we can see how this situation has caused unnecessary inconvenience.
We can see that the team handling your order has already shared an update via SMS, which provides more detail on the progress of your debit order change. We recommend referring to that update for the latest information.
Regarding your connectivity concerns, once the order changes have been fully completed, please let us know whether the issue of frequent disconnections continues. We would really like the opportunity to investigate this further and work with you towards a stable and reliable connection.

Kind regards,
Mweb Team

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for sharing this, and we understand how frustrating this situation feels—especially after making a payment expecting your service to continue, and then seeing conflicting information about another debit. We can confirm that your recent payment has been received and successfully allocated to your account.Regarding the additional R449 showing on the Vuma app, this usually relates to the next billing cycle that is already scheduled in advance by the system. In some cases, the app may display an upcoming debit even after a manual payment has been made, which can understandably cause confusion. To clarify your current position:
  •  Your received payment has been app**** to your account
  •  The service issue you’re experiencing is not due to non-payment on our side
  •  The upcoming R449 shown is a future scheduled debit, not a duplicate charge for the same period
We also understand your concern about service stability and the feeling that you are not getting consistent value due to interruptions. That experience is not what we want for you, and we can see why this has led to frustration. At this stage, if your WiFi is still not active despite payment being allocated, we’ll need to quickly check the service session on the line to restore connectivity and ensure everything is aligned correctly on the account.Kind regards,
 The Mweb Team
