Save BIG with MWEB & DStv - Big Big Big Mistake

Good Day

I signed up for this deal in September 2016. to combine my internet connection with my DSTV account which together totalled R 1299 (Uncapped line 4mb) as agreed by DSTV. DSTV was supposed to take over the billing as of September as they agreed and its already been billed on my DSTV statement which was paid. Some how you guys did not get a notification and I have been fighting for month now as I thought once I switch over they would tell you to stop billing me as DSTV is doing it directly .

I have been sending e-mails back and forth promsing from both parties that this will get resolved and wated my phone calls to DSTV and to Mweb. Mweb needed a letter from DSTV to tell them to stop billing me.

Now I get a Notice I will be cut off as I have not paid? What is this? Why advertise something that you cannot keep? If I knew this I would have kept the account like it is and only went for price lock. Thsi is totally unacceptable. and not on what so ever as I have been battling ever since I signed up for this package. Once again if I get suspended its not my fault. I am not paying the account twice as September has been paid.

No wonder you guys withdrew the combo after as I never saw this again.

I am out of words at the moment. Maybe I should contact the CPA as you or DSTV never sent me the terms and conditions regardingthis package.

I don't know if I can just cancel the DSTV porition of the billing for Mweb as I see this so called combo is not working as Mweb or DSTV does not even know what they are doing or communicatign with one another even though they are the same company (Mulitchoice Holdings) If you want all the e-mails I sent I will do so.

Reviewer Update

Just got an SMS now to say my account is over due when its not . please provide feedback? I cannot understand why I have to fight a month. I thought when I took the package out. I got asked the following

1. Who was my current ISP? Mweb

2. What line Speed? 4Mps uncapped

Then a quote was worked out. and I accepted. I was never told anything further about telling Mweb to cancel my account as I got told it was migrated to the new package. So what now??? I thought DSTV was supposed to handle the migration and sort out any biling issues and not me the consumer.
