Poor service

I am very disappointed with Mweb and open serve , god lord knows when I app**** for the fibre , I app**** and paid sometime late marrch early April They kept quite and did not say anything, I queried end of April and they told me their reason is that the place that am staying already has fibre, ok but they don’t tell me any thing , on then we sorted that 1 out , we made an appointment for installation for the 28 April 2026 The fibre was installed and for some reason it was showing a red light since then , it never worked People came from that day until today the fibre is still showing the red light it’s not working , guys from open serve have been coming and going , saying there’s broken or damaged cables they will come and replace then but to this date 10.05.26 dololo help , so I am asking and pleading with them to come and remove what is theirs I will get another company to install, because wow I am very disappointed in them , I know my complains will most definitely fall on deaf ears as they don’t care

Hi Tsakane,
Waiting this long after applying and paying for fibre, dealing with repeated visits, ongoing red light issues, and still being without a working connection is understandably exhausting and deeply disappointing. We recognise how frustrating it is to feel kept in the dark throughout the process, especially when you’ve been patient and followed up multiple times. This is not the experience we want for our customers, nor the standard of service we aim to deliver.
We’ve sent a request to the team handling Openserve orders to urgently follow up with the Openserve provider regarding your installation and the unresolved red light issue. The team has been asked to engage directly and provide you with feedback by email as soon as possible, so there is clarity on what is causing the delay and what the next steps will be.
Your experience and feedback will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review, as situations like this highlight critical areas where communication and follow‑through must improve.
If you require further assistance, you’re welcome to reach out to us again via Hello Peter, and we’ll assist where possible.
Kind regards,
Mweb Team
