Poor client service

I made contact with Mweb regarding moving from Telkom to Mweb, as my Telkom Adsl has been horrible.<br> I was told that I could upgrade for my 2mb uncapped line to a 100gb 1mb for about the same price as my 2mb uncapped line. I told him that I had no internet connection as my line was down thanks to Telkom. He proceeded to explain. Everything very nicely and took advantage of the fact that I was occupied with my toddler and signed me up for a data package, pro rats and 1 month in advance. It turns out that my area does not have 10mb line capabilities, as per contact with Telkom. So I was charged for data that I could not use as Telkom was giving me issues. He should have first waited until I cancelled my line with Telkom, before he just pushed ahead with making a sale. So I paid for something that I could not use
