Paying Over R800 for Internet That Doesn’t Work!!!

I have been paying over R800 per month to Mweb for an internet service that barely works. The connection is constantly dropping, making it impossible to do even the simplest things like watching a short TikTok video on my phone without interruptions.

I’ve reported the issue multiple times, but instead of getting help, I was threatened by a call centre agent who said I’d be charged R1700 for a technician call-out – even though the problem is clearly with the service I’m paying for.

Trying to cancel the service has been a nightmare. Despite my efforts, Mweb has not cancelled my account. Calling their call centre is a test of patience – I’ve had to wait on hold for over an hour, only to be met with unhelpful responses.

This is unacceptable service. I’m paying for a product that doesn’t work, and instead of support, I’m met with threats and delays. I would not recommend Mweb to anyone looking for reliable internet or decent customer service.
